Need Help! Choosing Next Stephen King Book!

Why???? Because I can't figure out what Stephen King book to read next....
I know. I know... This is a really big problem, and I need your help to fix it..

One of his early classics.

I recommend Carrie. It's far from his best book, but it is his earliest and it shows where he started on his literary journey. It's a short book and is worth your time (even if you've seen the 1976 film; and especially if you've seen the 2013 remake).

For novels, I would recommend Firestarter, Later and Needful Things! If you are in the mood for a short story collection, Skeleton Crew is a great one

Damn. I loved "Needful Things." The film adaptation disappointed me because it would take a mini series to do it justice. That said we have watched Needful Things probably a hundred times!
I have just started a re-read of "Pet Sematary". It is a group read for Horror Haven this month. It is unquestionably the most chilling book King has ever written. I think Salem's Lot may be the " scariest" (and its film adaptation with James Mason a classic). Both of these would be stellar reads from the works of King.

Joyland is one of my favorites. Christine is so under-appreciated. It's a great story about friendship, addiction, and the cost of anger.

Hello 👋 I am thinking 🤔 maybe try his bill hodges series which will introduce you to holly gibbson and so yeah lol. I will start there or dark tower series. But I am like you and would love to read all of kings works even works under his other pen name. Happy book hunting 📚
