The Future

This book is set only 6 years away, which is extremely close. Do you think because of global warming, we may have to go to carbon rationing? It is scary to think that this could happen to us in the future, and the earth will go completely bonkers. We really do need to stop global warming now. Any opinions?

I loved this book and felt it dealt with real issues in today's society.
I feel that due to advances in technology we will not have to Carbon Ration in the next 4 years however I do think that compromises are going to have to be taken and more defences will have to be places for sea level rise which will cause huge global problems.

I read and enjoyed these series of books I think a carbon ration is inevitable not just to tackle climate change but also peak oil the subject of my book.
