I've checked us in but MKat probably won't give us a new task until that is corrected... Sorry.

Task 16 - 112. Each teammate picks two books for the other teammates from their regular (not special) to-read shelf that has been there over a year and the teammate picks one of those books to read. No pass for this task.
Each of you will select two books from your other teammates ’to-read’ shelves that have been there over a year. (If no books over a year on their ‘to-read’ shelf, then select from the 20 oldest books on their shelf. But how is it possible to not have books that have lingered over a year?!) Each teammate will pick one of the books selected from their shelf and read that book. So each teammate will have to read one book from the six picked options.

You came pretty close with The Beloved. I have it checked out from the library, sitting on a shelf right by reading chair. It will be read before the end of the June. And Briggs is great. I enjoyed the first one in this series. It was nice to read what she can do outside of Mercy Thompson.

Last Task - Read a book with a naturally occurring body of water on the cover.
June 9, the last day of this round, is Donald Duck’s birthday! And we all know how ducks love water… To help Donal celebrate his 90th birthday, read a book with a naturally occurring and permanent body of water on the cover. Allowable bodies of water would include an ocean, a lake, a pond, a river, a stream or a waterfall. Pools, puddles and ice rinks are not acceptable. No pass for this task.
Remember completion posts with errors or missing elements will not count towards your team total or the completion of this task. The task will be considered ‘completed’ when each team member has completed one book for this task, additional books will count towards a tie breaker if necessary. Help each other out by double checking posts are complete with the first edition Kindle page count!
There is no need to post a team completion in the Q&A thread, I will be checking all team threads at the conclusion of the challenge. 😊

5 seems to be mainly MM, which I don't generally read.
7 wouldn't be a top choice for me. I could find something, but nothing that is currently on my TBR.
9 has a lot of variety.
