Getting out of a reading slump

Have you tried Anna and the French Kiss?

Or Austenland?

Dear Mr. Knightley was another I enjoyed.

Heart's Blood by Juliette Marillier is a good standalone fantasy

Immortal Mistake is a new book by Adele Jones (she writes science fiction), although it relates to a trilogy she wrote.

Signal Erased is another new one of hers. I haven't read it yet but I believe it's a standalone.

I have also written a standalone sci-fi, if you want to try that.

1) Sphere by Michael Crichton
this is more sci-fi than fantasy and be prepared to read the pages more than one time ;)
2) 5 feet apart by Mikki Daughtry, Rachel Lippencott, and Tobias Iaconis
omg I cried so hard with this one. it's basically fault in our stars but with cystic fibrosis instead of cancer
3) Nancy Drew by Carolyn Keene
ik, ik, these books are really easy, but I find that when trying to get out of a slump, it's best to start with short, attention grabbing books. these aren't stand alone but they are super episodical, so you can read them completely out of order or only read 1 and it will still make sense
my favorite Nancy Drews are Secret of the old clock and the mystery at lilac inn
hope this helps! <3
