Lana knocked on the door to his cabin a few mins later after she had told her friend everything
Elijah answered the door and saw Lana standing there, his face lit up thought he tried to hide it. Then he said “ Hey Lana what are you doing here?”
“Uhm… I wanted to talk to you about what happened earlier…” she said looking down at the ground
“Ok you can come in” he said as he leads her inside the chaos but also the clean cabin6
She looked around in shock “how is it so clean??”
“ because we have adhd and if everything wasn’t organized we wouldn’t be able to function” he said una serious and silly tone
“Ah, ok. Anyway. I’m sorry for walking off earlier. Instead of helping you.”
“It’s ok I understand you were still upset with me but I thank you for saving me from the hellhound”
“Yeah I didn’t really know what to do… but uh… that’s not all I came here for…”
Ok what else are you thinking flower girl?” He said with a devious grin
“Flower girl?!” She said in shock because no one ever thinks of a nickname for her
“Yea have you never gotten a nickname before” he said in a sarcastic tone
“No I haven’t owl head.” She raised her self up to kiss him
He smirked before he returned the kiss
She rapped her arms around his neck

He wrapped his arms around her waist and they just stood there for a while until he looked up and saw one of his cabin mates coming to the door so he immediately let go of Lana and said “ someone is coming you need to act normal”
“Ok?” She started talking about something random. “ and one of my plants died yesterday and that was why I was crying.”
“ Yea I saw that” he said as one of his siblings walked in and asked who the girl was, Elijah replied with “ oh this is just… my friend Lana from Demeter cabin” his cabin mate was giving him a weird look putting together what probably was going on
“Hi! Yeah it was one of the ones I have had for a while.” She said
Trying to get some privacy cause this was really awkward Elijah asked his sibling what they needed
Lana stared at them awkwardly (she was sitting on his bed with crossed legs)
His sibling replied “yeah I just came here to grab my bow so I can practice at the range” Elijah nodded and waited for them to leave and once they finally left Elijah didn’t know what to say so he just sat down next to Lana
She put her head on his shoulder. Not knowing what to say
They sat there for a while until they heard the horn for dinner and were surprised they had been there that long they went to their separate tables but Elijah couldn’t stop thinking about her
She was talking at her lunch table about her plants and every not and then she would drop a hint about him. She would think about him all the time
Elijah and Lana didn’t really talk the next few days and just said hi when they walked past each other but one night Elijah was in the woods talking to an owl and he could because those were his moms sacred animal
She was also in the woods, bored so she was playing with the flowers. She heard someone talking.
He continued to talk to the owl about this girl Lana and how he couldn’t stop thinking about her then the owl became a familiar voice which he recognized as his mothers telling him to be careful but he is strong and can handle anything
She tried to find the voice. Randomly hee dad popped into her head. For someone reason she had a panic attack.
Elijah was watching the owl and saw it was looking behind him so he followed the gaze and saw Lana on her knees breathing hard so he immediately panicked and ran over to help her then he asked “are you ok, what happened?”
Tears ran down her face out of fear. “N-nothing I’m f-fine.” She said still on her knees.
“I know something is wrong what is it really, don’t worry you can tell me”
“I thought about my dad. It’s nothing though.” She said more tears feel down her face. She wiped them immediately
“You’ve never mentioned you dad before what did he do to you?”
“…oh uh he- uhm. *she says in a really quiet voice* abu$ed me.” She said
“What kind of abuse” Elijah said with a growing pit of anger inside him because it reminded him of his own father who neglected him always and was mentally abusive
“Physical and mental. He would get drunk as well and never did anything for me. I would have to sneak out just to hang out with my friends.” She said. Somehow more tears fell and faster.
Elijah sat down and pulled her close to him then told her “your father will never hurt you again, you have left that life behind” but then he tried to lighten the mood a little by saying “I was going to say your safe now but you’re were demigods we don’t really do safe”
She laughed a little “thank you.”
“ Yea let’s get you back to your cabin flower girl”
She sniffled and wrapped an arm around is torso “ok owl head.”
He lead her back to her cabin and got her to bed then told her “if you need me you can always come talk to me and you should just take it easy tonight okay?”

(Switching to Demeter cabin)
Magdalena sat in her cabin, wearing jean overalls over a camp shirt with her hair in a high ponytail.
Phoenix peered in through the window and saw her, "We have to wait until she leaves," he whispered to Rowan
Rowan nodded. “Kk.” They had seen the girl around camp before, but didn’t know her name.
