Sarah (adayinmymediocrelife) | 64 comments I would say that it depends if you are going to continue on with reading the Grishaverse or not. I recently finished the series and currently reading Six of Crows. If you are planning on reading the entire Grishaverse, I would say yes. Just because, from what I have read of Six of Crows so far, I am glad that I have the back story from Shadow and Bone or else some of the conversations they have, names they drop, references to their history and deities would be completely lost on me.

Izzy | 48 comments Yes it is worth it. It would work if you just want to read shadow and bone, but it would be better if you read the whole grishaverse just so you everything is tied up nicely. Hope this helps!

Julia Guidry | 74 comments I really enjoyed the Shadow and Bone trilogy. The I read Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom, which was even better. I am looking good start King of Scars very soon!

Lily (azaleas_bookshelf_17) | 32 comments Hi, I have read Shadow and Bone and Six of Crows and watched the Netflix series. I think that you should read the books first, but I enjoyed Six of Crows more because Kaz is funny as hell (Shadow and Bone is the first in the series, I believe).
