I'm a dog person myself, always owned at least one dog, literally since birth (since my parents had dogs around me from day one). I'm actively teaching my dogs to ignore the cats, never to attack or chase them, but that task is not helped by cats who often actively seek to antagonize them.
Sarah wrote: "They like to do that, yes LOL"True :-). Most common example - they like to plant themselves right at the door the dog has to pass through and refuse to move out of the way, instead choosing to pick a fight and throw an attitude :-). No matter that the dog could eat them for breakfast :-). And that is with my working dogs that are not to be messed with.
It's even worse what happened to my poor pet - St Bernard, he was a big softy and he wanted to befriend the cat. Just came to sniff, wagging his tail, and he almost lost an eye.
My daughter has dogs and cats in the same household. They had a bit of a rocky start—with the cats batting at the dogs—but now they all get along fine.

Dirty Dancing, how I loved that movie. Remember when it first came out, wow, it was a revelation. Thanks for bringing back fond memories. And knitting, another thing I've got fond memories of, and always wanted to learn. Sadly, kept putting it off, my cousin's grandma passed and I missed my chance.
Gladys Knight, did she do one of the Bond movie songs or do I remember it wrong?

And I remember it now, the licence to kill video, thanks.

I had dogs for years and years and now I have cats so never the twain shall meet. So, to answer your question, yes I love both and have no idea if they would get along lol
