is it possible? (Original post has been deleted as the person who started this thread is no longer a Goodreads member, so no idea what this thread was/is about! P.S. Harry Whitewolf suspects originally it was about St. Germain, but this is not confirmed)

The immortal wolf-man!
What about legends of Indian Yogis who are said to live in caves and other remote places in the Hindu Kush and Himalayas for thousands of years or even be immortal?I'm thinking of dudes like Babaji and other gurus said by some to be living for centuries or more.
Do they deserve to be discussed in the same thread as St. Germain?
Harry wrote: "Ah, but now we're back to those hundreds of years old figures from the Bible as well!"Yes throw the Old Testament guys into the mix as well.
Seems like they lived for 900+ years back then.
Either that or those supposed ages are creative ways to insert numerology into the bible?

Ah, Bible numerology. You'd best start a new thread mate (and I guess it crosses over into The Bible Code, seeing as letters and numbers were interchangeable in the Hebrew Torah.)
Would love to know if any members have theories with regards to 666 for one thing.

It's definitely Bible Code stuff, yes.
The way they list all the ages of all the guys from Adam and Moses onwards, relentlessly listing every single age, struck me as not literal but rather a code for something else...
Have you considered that what is important in the Bible (especially the Old Testament) is not the words but the numbers?

Oh absolutely the truth of the Torah is in numerological terms.
The Bible even tells us so by telling us of parables that are all encrypted with specific numbers. And the precise sizes given for things like the Ark of the Covenant and Solomon's Temple certainly are steeped in ancient truths.
Christ gave parables to the people and the meanings behind those to his inner circle of disciples, as is clearly stated in the Bible. So this is how the Bible is meant to be read- as a disciple, not as one of the people. Which of course the Gnostics knew.

The Gnostics wisdom will return! Over 2,000 years after the fact, but better late than never!
Is it a scientific premise?“Male and female created He them.” [Gen.1:27].
Whether one is a religionist or atheist, via God-did-it or via evolutionary effects, does the ‘first’ emergence of a life form require as being a dual-gendered male & female construct as one, then separated to form male & female – or not necessarily so?
If not, then how can an offspring be a male or female when both attributes are not contained in the first emergence of that life form?

Haha! It's a conspiracy!
I think it originally had something to do with St. Germain - but past that I couldn't tell ya.
So if it was originally about St. Germain, how did the discussion become about CERN, Lord Krishna, Gandhi and Maggie Thatcher?!
Can we be sure this wasn't an offshoot of the dino thread? Like someone wanted to compete with that thread so started this one, but then became extinct like the dinos themselves hence they no longer on Goodreads....
James wrote: "So if it was originally about St. Germain, how did the discussion become about CERN, Lord Krishna, Gandhi and Maggie Thatcher?!"No idea. But it does indeed seem like a Dino thread spin-off show.
- And I see you've tagged my name on the end of the discussion thread now, just to implement me. ;)
James wrote: "No idea how that happened Harry...Everything is a mystery in this entire thread, I tell ya."
A mystery just like the mystery of the Dinos...
Ok I'll stop right there. ;D
i guess i have created this thread
yea! and this post was about St.Germain......but i have no idea what happened after that
