Not yet, I'm just finishing my current read, but please pitch in whenever you're ready. :)

Might go for an audiobook for this read. It’s been on my tbr for ages but I don’t have a physical copy at home yet.
Listened to the audiobook last year, Julia Whelan is incredible. Definitely one of my top books in 2023.
Highly recommend the audio Was one of favourite listen this year so far. Dog liked it too as I often did a longer route as I hadn’t had my fill.
I started this book yesterday and I'm struggling with it! I can't see how there will be a plot with a storyline like this but I'm hoping I'll be pleasantly surprised!
I have just started and am already quarter of the way through. I'm finding it a light, easy read and enjoying the fairytale feel to it. There are a few modern 'Americanisms' to her 18th century bits, but I'm trying not to be too pedantic as this is fantasy not history. Slightly irritated that so many characters seem to have 'cascading curls'... What was I saying about being trying not to be a pedant? But still enjoying it so far.
I have just finished this, and I take back my first comment, I actually ended up enjoying it! I wrote a full review (my first proper one, I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment!). This hasn't done enough to convert me to fantasy though I'm afraid.
I have finished it. It was enjoyable, but flawed (imho). I liked the premise, but I felt the author kept over describing Henry and Luc's looks - every time they reappeared on the page! I was never able to really immerse myself in the story, as I was too aware of the writer and her intentions. Still, it would make a good beach read, as the pages turned very quickly.
I had hoped to get around to reading this, but my reading is going too slowly this month, sorry to poop out.
I really enjoyed this book, thought provoking trope and a devilishly human soul taker, a lovely journey through history without getting bogged down in history, focusing on Adeline’s perspective throughout and at no point getting sentimental or playing on the readers emotions, while still being a lovely story. Also, I read on a Kindle but had to buy the sprayed edge hardback version, a lovely book with beautiful artwork within 🙂
