Creating this thread for our third of seven Harry Potter books!

Fav character: Mooney, otherwise known as Professor Lupin for teaching Harry so much, relaying memories of Harry’s dad to him, and being a stand up great guy. Honorable mention Hermione for finally hitting Malfoy.

Fav side character: Sir Cadogan, feisty brings life to the hallways

Least fav character: Peter Pettigrew, gross and gives me the heebie jeebies. Betraying, conniving, deserved to die in this book.

Favorite Character: Professor Lupin - If we don't count Hagrid as he wasn't initially introduced as a teacher, Lupin is the first Professor I feel that is 100% in the defense of Harry no matter what. Between teaching him spells to help defend himself from dementors, helping Neville lighten his spirits, and helping clear the name of Sirius Black he is one of the shining lights of this story

Least Favorite: Draco Malfoy - He was a dickhead the entire book. Was responsible for the sadness of Hagrid through the entire story and lead to Buckbeak being sentenced to death. Plays up an injury and for some reason gains the support of this obvious faking from Snape. Constantly cries to his dad to save the day.

Favorite Side Character: Sir Cadogan - A funny little picture man that causes chaos and just wants to duel someone. Also helpful and showed the crew how to get to divination.

Favorite Character: Hermione Granger. This was truly Hermione’s book from start to finish. As usual, she is right the entire time and the boys bully her for it. It’s also Hermione’s cat and time turner that save the day in the final act

Favorite Side Character: Oliver Wood. Gotta give it to my boi Oliver Wood again. This entry had a decent send off arc for one of my favorite side characters!

Least Favorite Character: Peter Petigrew. A pathetic traitor that gets Harry’s parents killed. His character description alone makes my skin crawl.
