I don't think it was a book that put me in a slump, I feel like I got into the slump after my cat died and I kind of fell into a depression for a few months. I feel good now but I've still been struggling to get back into the rhythm that I had in being a fast reader but hopefully that changes soon :)

Hey Ana! I am back to helping with the group as this family emergency happened to go down hill very quickly as a results which led to my grandma passing away this morning. She is now in heaven and I am glad she is not suffering anymore.

Hey V how are you? I've noticed that everyone hasn't really been very active in the BOTM nominations and we only have two books that have been seconded so what do we do? Since we only have a few more days left before we create the poll.

I’m good trying to fit Reading in. I know for me October November December are the busiest times for me, but I have noticed that the group has been a little quiet. Neither brainstorm some ways to get the group active again or just those two in the month the winners Because I can’t second anything else because I suggested it that’s where I’m at.

I don't want to get rid of them but I feel like if we do then people aren't going to be active and the group will be less quiet unless we think of things to do in the group or ways to keep people active.

What do we want to do for our next reading challenge? I was thinking more of like a alphabet challenge. We don't have to do the whole alphabet but start with letter a. It has to start with the letter a but we can suggest any genre. Keep the seconding idea.... what do you think?

Sorry I haven’t responded about the challenge I’ve just been really sick lately :( but I like the idea of the alphabet challenge! How would it really work? Would each person read whatever book they want that starts with that letter or would we nominate books with that letter and vote until one gets chosen?

People can nominate books but it HAS TO START with the letter A. So we can take suggestions and then we will make a poll for the top 2 winners. Like I said, anybody can nominate any genre. It can be a thriller it can be a romance anything.

And I like the idea for the challenge just how often would we do it? Like how many letters in a month or how would it work?

So we can see how it goes start with the letter a and then once we have our two winners, we read those the whole month give people time to read it and then the next month we can suggest books starting with the letter B if we like it or we can go back to what we’re doing.
