Thanks for the recs. :)
@Bella, I've read The Colonel's Lady and Courting Morrow Little, both are by Laura Frantz and set during the American Revolution, and I LOVED them.
I've also read Courting Morrow Little, as well as The Lacemaker also by Laura Frantz. Maybe I should try some of her other books...

There is actually a movie based on Eagle of the Ninth but it has some F-words in it.
@Jeremiah, thx for telling me about that. I did know about the movie but wasn't sure about the content. Thx for the heads up!
I have not read Eagle of the Ninth but I have read the third book in the series and a couple other of Rosemary Sutcliff's books. Have you read Black Ships before Troy?
I haven't read that one but I had a screenshot shot of that on my phone and was wanting to get it out of the library. I have read Knight's Fee by her and I quite enjoyed it. I do hope to read her Roman Britain Trilogy this summer. Have you read The Mark of the Horse Lord by her? I've wanted to know if the content was appropriate in that book.
I have not. She seems like an author who doesn't have to many flags in her books. But I'll look it up!
It looks pretty good. There is a new cover was bestowed upon it which is VERY UNHELPFUL but the original cover doesn't look to bad.
