Ryley This story has an interesting interpretation on the feeling of lying. It is something that everybody can see when it happens and it truly messes up the things around you by soaking them. That interested me because I didn't know at first if the water was at first in the main characters imagination like how the lady behind the "Yellow Wallpaper" was the main character's own mind. I don't know still how I feel about the water because it didn't have as big of an impact as I thought it would in the story. It seemed sort of secondary to the plot as in the short story "a Rose for Emily" where it was about her killing her would be husband and not at all about a rose given to her. All in all I didn't like the story because to me it seemed to have no closure, not only are the problems in the story just starting but I never figured out if the water affected anything.
