I’ve only read The Hope of Elantris, The Emperors Soul, and The Eleventh Metal. I really liked the Emperors Soul. It makes me excited for an Elantris sequel! If he ever gets to it haha
I hope he writes an elantris sequel at some point too! It’s nice that we get something more from that world through the short stories and Easter eggs in other books, but it would be nice to have another book. Elantris wasn’t my favourite of Brandon’s books the first time I read it, but it’s coming up in my reread list soon so I’m excited to dive back in and see what I think of it so many years later!
The hope of Elantris was very heart warming, and I LOVED the Emperors Soul, I’d have loved that story to have been extended upon more, such an interesting premise with such a cool magic system.
Many of the other short stories can be read wherever in your cosmere journey! I’d highly recommend the Sixth of Dusk and White Sand

I loved Arcanum! My favorites in it were Secret History, Edgedancer, and the Emperor's Soul.
Can I be the third person here to say that I absolutely loved the Emperor's Soul xD? Honestly the magic system, the tension, the little world building bits were INSANE.
And yeah I didn't much like Elantris(I had just finished Words of Radiance so my palate got hit hard by how much better Brandon got over the years) But I'm also looking forward to an Elantris sequel that is written by modern day Brandon which I know will blow my mind!!
I really liked Secret History and Emperor's Soul. The latter was pretty interesting, as it seemed really different from Elantris even though it was set on the same world. It's been cool to see characters from those stories pop up in some of Sanderson's most recent projects, including the Secret Project that was just announced!
