I have a background in the sciences and history (A double major in university has given me insights into both worlds), along with my publishing certificate. Currently, I work in the medical field and continue to take courses and webinars to improve my editing skills.
My rates are (Canadian dollars):
Beta read: $1.50 per 1000 words (min charge of $10) Copyedit: 0.015 per word Proofread: 0.01 per word Editing Bundle: purchase a copyedit and get a proofread for $0.007 for the same manuscript.
