Listen 😌 Haunting Adeline is my favorite books of all
BUT I would not recommend it just to anyone. IDK how old you are but this is definitely a 21+ read. The trigger warnings are not to be taken lightly because if you're not into that sorta things some scenes might be really ... unsettling for you.

What does that mean? This book is all about a toxic, manipulate, obsessed man, about killing and torturing people, about sex trafficking, about fetishes that venture into the BDSM world and yes, an obsessed dark man sounds good when it comes to (dark) romance books but HD Carlton writes her books so realistically that you're really immersed into it. The way she writes the books don't feel like you're reading a book, they feel REAL. Which can be pretty damaging with the particular set of trigger warnings she displayed.

Did you know that Haunting Adeline was banned for a while? Yeah, I'll let that one speak for itself.

So, yes, it's worth it IF you are into dark BDSM toxic manipulative etc etc (essentially all things the trigger warnings talk about aka dark dark romance) things. Keep that in mind

I read both Haunting Adeline and Hunting Adeline within 3 days and I absolutely loved the books. Probably my favorite dark romance. BUT Please, please, please read the trigger warnings before reading them. The second book is significantly darker than the first.

I personally loved the book, the first one is very good and I thought the second one was even better. But make sure you like reading about the things in the TW page.

I loved this book, I never wanted to put it down! But be aware of the triggers it is definitely DARK but if you can handle it I def recommend!!
