" Oh that's something new" she said with an awkward chuckle
He shrugged "I've got it better off than most of my friends. But whats your story?"
" Oh mine .... they were hunted and killed"
"Oh-" he gave her a weird look, like sympathy and understanding. "We might be as different as I thought-"
She chuckled " Yeah maybe"
"Most of the kids I was raised with-" he stared at the table. "It's a long story lmao (LMAOOO)" he chuckled
Zee couldn't help but also laugh a little
He laughed a little bit. "There were only 14 of us, 15 if you counted our "leader"" he used the air quotes with a disgusted look. "We were all raised in a lab, experimented on and such." he waved it off.
" Oh you to were from an lab" She said
"Yes and no. I was born, then people just kinda. " He mimed a surgery, injections, and some sort of mushing thing. "Our leader, Tae, helped us all escape- but..."
" Oh " She said " Un like me i was made in a lab"
"Oh!" he smiled "We really are similar!"
" Mmhm " she nods
He picked at his earrings, three dangly ones on each ear.
She smiled " So how long were u in the lab" She asked
"Uh-" he counted on his fingers "From when I was born to when I was about 8? So-" he stared at the table. "Only 8 years- But the effects of it- and the people- They stuck around for a lot longer"
" Well... I just escaped about 3 years ago" She said
(Yeah imma just be on and off during the break lol)
Zee grabs a book and sits on the bean bag chair that's in the dark back corner

Clementine walks into the library, excited to have her daily chat with the librarian, until she sees the girl. She raises an eyebrow. “What are you reading?”

Zesshi looks up from the book at her " Oh an book about mythic " She said and smiles
“Cool.” She said, plopping down on the beanbag next to the girl. “I’m Clementine. What’s your name?” She pulled a book about phobias of the shelf.
" Im Zesshi" She says
“Nice name.” She says, opening the book. She had a phobia of water and cats, and she hated telling people. She thought people would make fun of her.
" Thank u " She says smiling and flipped the page in her book
She nodded. They both read their books in silence, until she heard the scream. It was definitely screaming, but it was muffled. “Did you hear that?” She hopped up, looking around the library.
Zesshi also looked up " Yeah who was that?'
“I don’t know. I don’t recognize the voice. But it sounded like a little boy.” She was poking her head around corners, checking to see if anyone else had heard it. Everyone was talking to each other or reading or something else. No one else except them had heard it.
"We should go check it out" She said standing up
“What does it look like I’m doing?” She said, losing her temper. “Sorry. I get mad easily.”

She nodded. She started walking around the library, checking cabinets and isles. She heard another scream. She pointed towards a door. She ran towards the door, which of course had the words KEEP OUT on it.
