I just read Dead Things Are Closer Than They Appear and loved it, I haven't seen anyone talking about it. It's more contemp fantasy though

And about recommendations - honestly I'm only ever reading fantasy so pretty much everything I rated 4+ stars haha.

Jokes aside - if you tell me what you're looking for I'll definitely be able to give you recs! Eg - action, romantic subplot, YA, medieval, modern with magic, crime element, high fantasy, urban, more mature MCs.... I have a book for everything!
