Dj | 2364 comments I haven't started reading this yet, but it seemed to be the right place to post this. The Fox Wife is in the Final Four of Jimmy Fallon's Book Club.

I found it interesting that he is running a book club read like it is March Madness for College Basketball

DivaDiane SM | 3717 comments There’s another group on GR that does that every March.

Rachel | 1406 comments Our library does it for children’s book and has the kids hire each round - very cute

Raucous | 888 comments I'm a few chapters into The Fox Wife and am really enjoying it so far. The author's narration of the audiobook is beautifully compelling and the structure of the book seems to be working well for the story that she's telling.

Rachel | 1406 comments I think I’ll try the audiobook a bit later in the month then

Nicole (Nerdish.Maddog) (nerdishmaddog) | 122 comments I'm doing the audiobook for this one as well. I listened to The Ghost Bride, which she also narrated, and it felt like being told a bed time story she just made up on the spot. She has definitely set a different tone with her narration on this book but its still compelling and beautiful.

Kaia | 739 comments My hold finally came in at the library, and I started this one yesterday. I’m finding it to be a very quick read - especially in contrast to the last book I finished. I like the two point of view characters, and the mystery and folklore elements are very interesting so far.

message 10: by Kim (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kim | 89 comments I just started the audiobook today for this and I’m adoring it. I’m about 35% in - finding it hard to stop listening.

Bonnie | 1290 comments Read first four chapters.
I think
one POV is told third-person, present tense;
one POV is told first-person, past tense.

So far I like it. Clear prose. Story seems compelling.
I have not read other books by this author, The Ghost Bride (on our shelf) or The Night Tiger.

Meredith | 1819 comments I'm finally starting this. I've read the first 7 chapters (about 10% in) and I'm finding it very intriguing so far.

message 13: by Kim (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kim | 89 comments I’m roughly 70% in and still loving it. The switch between the two pov feel almost seamless to me, weaving an intricate story.
