World cat also has 256 pages. This edition appears to be the second volume. Are you counting the total for two volumes?
Hi !This is the second volume and it has 954 pages .
This is the number I have on my physical copy and on the website of the publisher. :)

OK, just assure me that your page count doesn't include advertising material, an extract from another book or blank pages right at the end & I'll be happy to add it for you.
The ten last pages are a small biography of the author and the table of contents :) Thank you so much !
