Hey, Jessie. I had to say hello when I saw we had such similar reading interests, including Piranesi which I feel I could do a whole masters on. When I finished it I needed to find anyone who had read it so I could talk about it! LOL

If I can be bold to recommend a book to you I'd suggest Eyes Guts Throat Bones by Moïra Fowley-Doyle. This is another one I'm desperate to dissect and will definitely read again. It's a collection of short stories all on which lean into the horror, literary fiction, magical realism, and of course queerness in one way or another. Honestly one of the best short story collections I've read in a long time !
