Jonatan Skogsfors (jonatanskogsfors) | 11 comments Hi! I’ve been trying to add an edition of Les Miserables that I’m currently reading. All feedback I get are canned responses for me to add a link to a book page or the authors homepage. The problem is, the author is from the 19th century and the edition from 1927 so it is impossible to comply.

The reason I’m reading this edition is because all modern editions are abbreviated in my language (Swedish). That makes it relevant and it is feasible to buy it from an antiquarian.

The best I could think of is a link to a post from the Swedish national library but it lacks images and also I haven’t even gotten a response from the Goodreads librarian.

I understand that you need policies to avoid false content but I think this should be possible. What do you suggest I do?

I’m not trying to shame the librarian but for reference, here is a link to the issue:

Tawnya | 4028 comments We can use a scan of the cover that you upload. I usually suggest people put the photo in their pictures since it is the safest way (to me) to access the scan.

Jonatan Skogsfors (jonatanskogsfors) | 11 comments In the discussion, i supplied a link to the cover which I shot myself. But thanks for the tips to upload it to "My photos" here on Goodreads. I will upload both a straight cover and additional photos.

Tawnya | 4028 comments The publication page is also a benefit. Get me that and I can do it. I like to do books that are pre-ISBNs because of the historical aspect. It is neat to see them. I have found so many cool books over at Archive. When I was a kid I had a copy of Little Women that was from 1904. My mom left my door open one day and one of the dogs destroyed it. I was upset of course. Truthfully though, I didn't like the book. I still have never seen a movie adaptation.

Anyway, if you can do the cover and the publication page I will do the book for you.

Sandra | 31397 comments Linking to the Swedish Nat Library should be good enough for the publication page that Tawnya requested, as that is an acceptable source.

And your cover added to your photos would be good.
