let's say it's taste, not everyone likes the same books. personally I loved them and I think they're definitely worth the hype. the trope is really good and not predictable at all. I read a lot books with too banal tropes, where you could see at the beginning how the story was ending and this isn't the case. I definitely recommend them to you, at least give it a try!

i personally really enjoyed the series. but there is scenes that made me really mad but you know it’s kinda the experience lol. but i would definitely say give it a try. personally i think the books get better as you read the series.
