For this task, does 3 books constitute a series or does it count if only 2 books in the series are published?

The original version of The Dating Game was a popular TV game show in the mid-1960s to early 70s. A bachelorette posed questions to three bachelors who were behind a screen and at the end of the half hour, she chose Bachelor #1, Bachelor #2, or Bachelor #3 for a date.
