I’ve heard great things about author Frieda McFadden. I’d love to read one of her books next. “The Housemaid” is a series of 2 books that has received stellar reviews. I do really like Ashley Antoinette writing and have been wanting to start the Ethic series but was told I have to start Moth to a Flame to better understand.
I suggest:

I love Freida McFadden! I read the first two books in The Housemaid’s series and highly recommend reading them!
I thought this book club only focused on books written by black authors though.
