Bilyana❀ (thewildestbird) | 1 comments What the others said. I'm currently in a "reader's block" but mostly because work is not letting me breather for a sec. I suggest either reading short, "easy" books or re-read your favorites. Read some of your "guilty pleasure" books, fanfics, visual novels, audio stories, whatever it is. Reading should be fun, just do your thing.

Farzana | 4 comments I either reread some of my favourites or watch dramas and movies till I feel like starting a new book

Shanna (shanna79) | 15 comments Go back to reading an old favorite. Reading the Hunger Games trilogy got me out of a reading slump last year.

Nav (_nav) | 7 comments Depends on why the slump. Either: Finish something short to get over the hump. Re-read a favorite to remember how amazing writing can be. Try an e-book to accompany you while doing errands if you've just been feeling guilty about not being more productive. Check out an adaption (a book you first saw as a Netflix series or video game or a prequel) of something so you can enjoy that's comfortable /and/ new. Don't force yourself to try something you hate (like if you can't stand, say, horror or poetry, don't bother with it) but something new like a genre you don't usually read or trying a less established author - I find nonfiction or mystery works best with this one. Mystery can get you invested in the puzzle of whodunit and nonfiction gives you lots of options to pick something you have a related interest in. You can learn about some famous person you admire or how better to do something or etc.
