Kylar stepped out from a shadow and stood in front of her. "Why do you play with them like that? Just beat him and be done with it ." He was wearing a gray tunic with matching breeches. His assassin's his was down so his smirking face was revealed. "I know you're way better than that."

Kylar chuckled. "You know what master says about being lazy." Their master was a mysterious man with many sayings. Most about dying. This one was Kylar's favorite. He started walking beside her.

He felt odd about how easily he talked about killing people, then silenced the thought. Regrets and second thinking yourself got you killed.

Kylar nodded, though "freshening up" for him was just to put on his court grays. Still very practical, bit also elegant enough that he looked like he belonged their. "I'll be there." He turned on his heel and headed to a safehouse to get ready.

Once it was time, Kylar headed to Rosalyn's place to meet her to head to the palace together. He knocked, waited 3 seconds, and headed in. Kylar sat down in the sitting area to wait.

Kylar was flipping one of the dozen daggers he carried over his fingers. When he saw her, the dagger clattered to the floor. "What happened to the little girl who looked like a boy? You're all woman now."

Kylar laughed and followed behind her, content to let her lead the way. He observed the people he passed, making sure no one was a threat.
