It looks like a wrong book is listed as book one in this series: https://www.goodreads.com/series/1401...

Instead of Desperate Hearts, I think the correct book should be: Outlaw Hearts

Agreed, according to author website: Outlaw Hearts is book 1, Do Not Forsake Me is the sequel.
Desperate Hearts is a stand alone.
