SW | 7 comments I'm super picky! I prefer mystery, thrillers, historical fiction and sci-fi. Also a male narrator (and if he's British or has an accent, even better)
Examples of some of my favs for reference:
The Bedlam Stacks
Project Hail Mary
The Silent Patient
Everyone on my Family Has Killed Someone (also the 2nd book)
The Kingdoms

Christine Mathieu | 948 comments Scott Brick reads the crime novels by Nelson DeMille and he does a great job!

Krisko Isackson (kriskodisko) | 0 comments project hail mary was narrated (fantastically) by ray porter. he also read the bobiverse novels by dennis taylor, which i have listened to twice.
my favorite scifi narrator is r.c. bray, who narrated craig alanson's expeditionary force and rhett bruno's titanborn, both good scifi sagas.

Jo Richner | 2 comments project hail Mary is my favorite I re-listen every year.

Jo Richner | 2 comments braiding sweet grass is so good as is her gathering moss. though project hail Mary just lives in my head every January/February till I listen to it again.

Michelle Hocking | 3 comments Dune and The Road were exceptional audiobooks! Multiple voice actors, sound effects, and dramatic pauses make an audio book really standout. Or for autobiography fun, check out The Meaning of Mariah Carey..she sings at least 10 times and I'm here for it.

Kristin ❀ (kristinproskow) I'm very picky and I find the best to listen to are autobiographies where the author gets to narrate in their own voice. my fave was I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jeannette McCurdy.

I also like the Greek mythology retelling by Natalie Haynes- she narrates her own audiobooks and she's a comedian at heart. Definitely recommend
