Kelly (Maybedog) (maybedog) | 62 comments Could you add "Edition could have bad ISBN, try another" or something like that to the help page, "Why do I see a message that a book record does not meet Goodreads catalog guidelines?" I run into this error message frequently and it is always resolved by switching to another edition. In several different discussions I've heard people complaining that they can't review their book. I even came here with the same question. If you suggest people try a different edition, I think it would help people so much. People are finding it really frustrating.

Thanks.

Kelly (Maybedog) (maybedog) | 62 comments I didn't think any one of us normal people had access to the help pages. The help pages said to post in the librarian group. Where should I post it? I'm not trying to get around the rules.

David Raz (davidraz) | 12795 comments The name of each folder is pretty much self-descriptive and some of them (like this one) have a sticky note with further instructions. I would try "Policies & Practices", "Book & Author Page Issues" or "Questions".

Kelly (Maybedog) (maybedog) | 62 comments Okay. Thank you. (I didn't go through the regular channel. I tried to post in another thread and it wouldn't take it so it gave me the option to choose a different group, so I tried this one because it made sense to me. But it turned out it was something in the message itself.)
