Hi Christopher! I would encourage ‘your friend’ to ensure the novella is well edited and has a decent cover. Then, I’d advise ‘your friend’ to send it to a few beta readers (that enjoy that genre of writing) to obtain constructive feedback. Publish. I enjoy writing humour, and it feels like such a risk (will other folk like it etc.) However, if what I write makes me laugh, making others giggle is a bonus. Kindle U is useful as it gives one the opportunity to read a number of books, without going bankrupt.
BTW, two of my children think I’m hilarious; the other two tolerate their quirky father. Go for it, Chris. Authors of humour/satire should support each other.
Thanks Denny! Well, here's to hoping for some giggles from others! Started a giveaway for it. (Shows how much hope I have for it, first price I think I can sell it for is $0) https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Hope you win one, hope you like it, and cheers!
