SOLVED -Science Fiction with Cat People [s]

Adult - This book is at least 10 years old. There are two races: the humans and these cat-like people. The main female character is one of the latter. She is with her sisters most of the time. The title is something like Caterina or Catrina, etc. But I did not find it under either of those names. Something similar, though.

Never mind - solved my own quest. It is Cat Karina by Michael Coney. I knew I had the name close- just had to fixate a bit longer!
