Instead of that, you recombined before the merge was complete, thus readers who shelved the deleted edition now have the incorrect edition on their shelves. Please don't do that again.
If you don't understand what I mean, read the the librarian manual again (step 4 specifically).

I re-split the editions and re-queued the merge. Please don't recombine until it is done.

I had to re-queue this merge one final time before it worked. I recombined it and all is done.
