Pasquale Russo (pasqualerso) | 8 comments In my quest to get reviews, I ran across allbooksreviewinternational. They advertise free reviews and I wonder if anyone here has gotten one from them. They seem to be promoting their $49.95 package -- which I won't buy -- but just wonder what the free review is like.

Thanks,

Pasquale

Laurie (barksbooks) (barklesswagmore) I've never heard of them but aren't all reviews suppose to be free? What's the $49.95 fee about?

I just read the featured review and it didn't read like a reader review to me and wouldn't tempt me into buying the reviewed book, if that's what you're after. I guess it depends what you're looking for in a review, real reader opinions or very generic reviews.

Brenda Clough (brendaclough) | 361 comments I would not pay for reviews. Certainly not that amount of money.

I depend solely on readers for reviews, and I think that's the way it should be if we want to maintain the integrity of the review process.

Jennifer Povey | 44 comments The only thing you should "pay" for a review is a free copy of the book...

this exactly

Pasquale Russo (pasqualerso) | 8 comments Thanks all. Never intended to pay for a review; it's a bit underhanded.

You can try http://bookvetter.com/ They do not charge but do book swaps in a different way. I'm set up with 5 books to choose to review and my book is set up with other people. But I only get the reviews if it is Vetted - (look at the site for explanation). Anyway, look over the site - you might be interested
