If you are using tabs tab all the things you want then go back and take away the tabs you don’t want anymore I can get a little tab happy and this trick really helps me
Dont take it too seriously and don’t be afraid to be silly! It doesn’t matter if you mess up, it just adds to the charm
I'm pretty new to annotating and currently annotate with see-through tabs. Right now I don't like to tab too much cause I also get tab-happy and just feel like tabbing everything. But here are some key tabs you can have:- World Building
- Favorite Quotes
- Romantic moments
- Shocking moments
- Favorite moments
- Sad moments
Based on the genre of book you read, you'd fix this in a way that benefits you, but I've also seen some people make tabs for each character--which is also cool! I saw someone do it for Donna Tartt's "The Secret History".
Just remember to have fun and do what resonates with YOU the most.
I get tab-happy a lot and sometimes make up a whole new thing on my tab code just to have more 🤣
Same girl; nothing makes me more happy when annotating when there’s a tab color that matches the cover of the book
If there is a word I don’t understand I underline it and I add the meaning next to it. (Even tho I won’t read the book again but who knows it has potential.”
