lizzie ♫ | 37 comments So basically last month I had the best reading month ever and I feel like this month I’m doing so bad lol. Do you guys have any tips on how to get out of a reading slump… thanks ily

Kika ྀིྀི | 82 comments Well, I recommend reading a book you really liked. The nostalgia normally works for me, and makes me want to read more. Like those kids that make you want to have more kids, in a way.

Aubrie (taylors version) | 45 comments Read a fast paced book like a girls good guide to murder series or hunger games trilogy

nat!!(johnny kavanagh’s version) | 127 comments here’s some really good book recs that absolutely can not put you in a slump:
- the boys of tommen series
- the addicted/calloway series

Lizzy⋆·˚ ༘ * (angeliclizzy) | 61 comments usually when I’m in a reading slump I read a book that is apart of a series I started because I’m already familiar with all the characters, plot, storyline etc. or I read a short book, or I just take a break🧍🏻‍♀️

Olivia Cerasuolo | 1 comments freida mcfadden’s books have never failed to get me out of a reading slump! they’re so fast paced and the mystery keeps me hooked, they’re usually quite short, i suggest start with the housemaid, or never lie !

Emma | 77 comments Yeah, basically what everyone else said, to reread one of your favorite books or read a book that you know will be good so it will make you want to read. (My sister gives me a lot of recommendations so if you have someone like that try it?)

E’s library | 11 comments i agree with others on re-reading, but also just know it’s okay to be in a slump! if reading is super off the table, then maybe listen to playlists inspired by your fav book characters or consume media about books! seeing other people happy about what their reading often makes me exicted to read again

shelby☾⛤ (iluvmusic) I would say just take a break. You're probably burnt out. This happen to me last year when I was reading like six books a month and then July-November I was so burnt out I couldn't read. So I just took a break and now I'm reading again! If you think you might have the same situation as just take some time away from the books and come back when you feel ready to read again

Alex Wisner | 7 comments i either reread an old favorite or force the Chaos Walking series on people. the writing style and plot are so fast paced you won’t want to stop reading. while still focusing on the characters you’ll grow to love as if they were your own children😭😭😭
