I quite enjoyed it but it was an odd feeling read haha. It was very slow going and boring at times so I found myself taking lots of breaks.. but I liked it? 😂. I really like the premise of the book and the world of it all so I am very much looking forward to the rest of the series! Book two takes off which I knew it would so I delved right into it.

I’m an Elden Ring noob lmao. I did Samurai for my starting class. My husband did Vegabond. We’ve got gaming set ups side by side so we’re playing in tandem as best we can and then summoning eachother when we need help. My neurospicy brain is overwhelmed but I am liking it so far!

Hell yeah!!! if you guys ever get into modding games and end up wanting to do a multiplayer round let us know!! we play vanilla and modded so we can play with friends in the whole game and it’s so fun 🤭

also this is the last day of our anniversary trip and i think im going to get close to finishing book 3 of the everflame series! once you finish book 2 it gets really crazy and hard to stop reading

Oh man does it ever. I am also planning on finishing book three today! It’s been jam packed haha. I’ve been reading non stop and was feeling like I was reading so slow until I realized it’s almost an 800 page book 😂. It’s so good.

do we know/think the heartstone is made of godstone?

I just finished book three. And all I can say is I sure hope that is the case Kay!

I’m trying to wrack my brain from the earlier book if they described the heartstone the way they do godstone but my mind is coming up blank. I might have to try and look back tomorrow. I think it would make sense.. for reasons haha, but don’t want to spoil anything.

I just got back from California! I had no time for reading unfortunately lol. I did finish Anathema on the flight there, and I started Phantasma during a pool day and got lots of reading in on the flight home last night. Just over half done, and can I just say Blackwell got his hooks in me right from the get go.

I love the Interview with the Vampire visuals reference! Funny, without even realizing I was doing it I’ve been using Haunted Mansion/New Orleans Square in Disneyland for visuals 😂.
