It's a pity then that we don't still have some dinos around, friendly ones of course. Imagine how many people one Dino egg would feed? We could have Dino farms - I think? Maybe not. Oh well, back to those poor chicken farms.

Singing:
Harry Harry, Krishna
Harry Harry, Krishna

all together now!

James Morcan | 11380 comments The real God is perfection I believe
Other versions are more man made Gods of religions etc and reveal more about Man than God, in my opinion

message 330: by James, Group Founder (new)

James Morcan | 11380 comments It's an enjoyable rut as it's becoming a cacophony of madness
Like a mental asylum on a bad day

Which of course was my evil intention all along

Catherine Krishna wrote: "by the way, why god chose water not fire for the destruction? an epidemic would also have done."

Well..he did....the plagues....fire, hail, frogs, locusts, fog/mist (that killed the first born son)....can't remember the others...it's like the 7 dwarves....you can never remember all 7 at the same time!

James?

Okay, now I'm just confused on what you're questioning?

message 340: by Catherine (new)

Catherine no Satan is not a god...he's a fallen angel

message 341: by Catherine (last edited Apr 13, 2015 12:09AM) (new)

Catherine God never claimed perfection...

he's Omniscient..all knowing
he's Omnipresent..all present
he's Omnipotent..all powerful

nowhere does it say he's perfect!

the gods of "multi-god" religions fight amonst themselves! who said they're better?

Zeus fought with all his brothers...(both in Greek form and Roman

Native American and Indian deities fought amonst themsselves...they became jealous of each other

how is that better?

message 343: by Catherine (new)

Catherine Harry wrote: "Did aliens and dinosaurs co-exist on Earth?"

aliens? like ET? whilst I'm in agreement that there is other intelligent life out there...I don't think that many (if any) of these beings came to earth at any time in our past....

not only that...don't you think that if they did arrive here whilst the dinosaurs were around, that the dinosaurs would have eaten them all?

Catherine Fay wrote: "Catherine wrote: "Hey...your forgetting that the Roman/Greek gods fought with the Titans....

no...what makes us different from God is our "free will"to decide what we will do...whether or not it is right or wrong... THAT is what makes us different....

clearly he did....because he wouldn't have had to cause the flood (or sent the plagues in Egypt) to "teach" us a lesson.

God isn't perfect.

Catherine Krishna wrote: "no! god tried to eliminate evil so that upcoming human beings can flourish in a good society. gods never intended to punish anyone. they r above emotions and think about an entire species, not any ..."

yes..I agree with you there....but God determined that humans were evil....they were worshipping false idols....and not listening to his word.

Noah survived because he listened and heard the Word of God!!! he took that leap of faith...and asked his family to trust in God as well...

Do you really think that God who is all those things would concern Himself with the petty goings on of the human race? Why wouldn't He leave man to rise or fall on his own sword. After all, that was the purpose of free will, in MHO.

And, that being said, I don't believe in the Devil as a separate entity from God. If God is all those things you you say, which I can agree with, then God has presidency over Satan anyhow. It is us, man, who is the problem and God is laughing while we figure it out.

Oh...because he new there aas a flood that was coming and had to save 2 of every species....sure....he was so smart he knew all that!!!

He got that onfo from God!!! He didn't have a weather report....or a meteorologist to tell him what tbe weather would be,

Well..in one reapet....yes....because we were(are) his creations....his "children"...he is the "father"...who meets out punishment or praise.
