So is Icke saying that the Reptilian elite are actually reptiles like dinos and then shapeshift into humans?

I wonder what Icke would say about this thread?
Would he think the answer is obvious (that the dinos became the Royal families and bankers of the world)?

I think he's saying just that if you tune into a different level of reality, you'll see the lizards are in control.

It's that damn word 'lizards' which makes it sound so crazy. But substitute it for reptilian demons, devils, snakes and whatnot that have always been the symbol of The Dark Side in religions and cults, and it fits in rather well.

The BBC did a doco a while back titled "WAS DAVID ICKE RIGHT"

This was a shift as the BBC, and all of British media, mocked the guy ruthlessly for years. And in that doco they did cover his reptilian theory...saying that while it sounds laughable and absurd on one level, look at it from another broader perspective and possibly he's onto something.

I think it's like that with almost anything. Something can be false on one level and true on another.

People who live in mental asylums loaded on prescription drugs all day long who are made to watch TV re-runs of old shows (my nurse is forcing us to watch MacGuyver right now!) need an outlet to burn off steam...hence this discussion thread.

Meanwhile, what's this about "underground knowledge"? Never heard of it. Sounds like a complete waste of time compared to this thread!!

They are called "“t’ninim g’dolim." Correct translation is "great lizards."

Verse 20 were the birds and verse 21 were the dinosaurs.
The word "dinosaur" comes from the Greek "deinous" and "sauros," which means "terrible lizards." The Hebrew words mean "great lizards." Six of one, half a dozen of the other.
The original translation way back was faulty. They rendered the phrase as "great whales," or sea monsters, but there is no sea mentioned in the original text.

message 989: by James, Group Founder (new)

James Morcan | 11380 comments In summary (after 900+ posts)...

What really happened to the dinosaurs? THEY JUST STOPPED HAPPENING, REALLY. And how come the Bible doesn't mention dinosaurs? WELL, APPARENTLY IT DOES, ACCORDING TO OUR JEWISH FRIENDS (NOT SURE IF THAT'S A MENTION IN THE TORAH AND ALSO THE CHRISTIAN OLD TESTAMENT, OR IF IT'S JUST THE TORAH OR WHAT, BUT NEVERTHELESS THE DINOS APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN AMBIGUOUSLY MENTIONED AS "GREAT LIZARDS" AND I AIN'T GONNA ARGUE WITH SOMEONE WHO SPEAKS HEBREW WHEN I DON'T...).

THE END

I know I'm late to this train, but man is much older than that^^.

I annoy the people around me with a saying. "When people find out the truth about history, there are going to be alot of folks shocked."

I am rather conservative in my thinking, but I have had some archaeological training. And I read history (older history books are alot more detailed than modern 'stream-lined' texts).

But there is way too much evidence found and being proven to still claim this.

As for dinosaurs... I'll get back to you on that one. Want to read more on this thread. But when I seen this, I had to comment.

Okay, that's it... The franchise is on!

And the mystery continues...as why were the dinos only (briefly and ambiguously) mentioned in the Bible or Torah?????

Of course. Fundamentalist Christians believe the entire Universe is only about 10,000 years old...So there's no logic whatsoever in that assertion as far as I can tell...
Debating with them makes for great discussion topics, however ;)

I do think the idea that many of them drowned due to rising water (global warming, anyone?) bears credence, though.
(As seen here: https://answersingenesis.org/dinosaur...)

I also found this that kind of supports that idea, what with everything else: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/ne...

I don't think there was one idea alone that wiped them out. And a question from childhood - how come only dinos bit the big one, and not ALL life?

Only on page 2 now. Sharing this stuff with the kids, and this is today's Big Question of the Day.

"At the time of the Flood, many of the sea creatures died, but some survived. In addition, all of the land creatures outside the Ark died, but the representatives of all the kinds that survived on the Ark lived in the new world after the Flood. Those land animals (including dinosaurs) found the new world to be much different than the one before the Flood. Due to (1) competition for food that was no longer in abundance, (2) other catastrophes, (3) man killing for food (and perhaps for fun), and (4) the destruction of habitats, etc., many species of animals eventually died out. The group of animals we now call dinosaurs just happened to die out too. In fact, quite a number of animals become extinct each year. Extinction seems to be the rule in Earth history (not the formation of new types of animals as you would expect from evolution)."

Still think it's legit.

Erma Talamante (eitalamante) | 55 comments "I suspect they would say something to the effect that this dinosaur somehow survived because it was trapped in a remote area that has not changed for millions of years." https://answersingenesis.org/dinosaur...

This makes absolute sense, and I don't understand why the author of this article is poo-pooing the idea, while at the same time agreeing with it.

This whole thing is very contradictory in many areas (similar to watching a couple episodes of Ancient Aliens back-to-back), but does hold a number of thought-provoking hypotheses. I just think those ideas are not the ones the original author intended.

"...they will always be able to concoct an “answer” because evolution is a belief. It is not science—it is not fact!"

The same could be said of Creationism. And oh! Here I am saying it! Creation is a belief. It is not science (evidently). It is not fact.

Just a question...

What about people who died before Jesus' time? What about Abel? Is he in hell (a creation of Dante that got him excommunicated from the church)? Abraham, Issac, and Jacob? Them too?

Just saying.

Truth be told, I don't know. I have asked the same question myself, and have gotten an answer but have forgotten it. Research time!
