I finished this one on Friday and I gotta say!! it's been my favorite so far!! i love the progress Veronica and stoker have made :") and I also love that this one ended in a somewhat positive note! I'm really excited for the next one, I'll look into it :)

also, I was able to borrow the audiobook of A Fate Inked in Blood and I honestly liked it more than I expected! I'm finishing it up right now :) I think the audiobook made her more likeable, the narrator gives her a much more sincere tone than what I gave her in my head lol

Yeah I could see how hearing it would be better than reading this one! Do you just borrow audio from the library too?

Haha, Bella, that might be the case...her voice in my head wasn't the best. Certainly a narrator can make or break a book sometimes.

yeah that's true, she seemed to be very loyal to them above all, even after Veronica and stoker risked their lives to help the royal family in the past, only to not be recognized at all for their efforts

Me too! Especially when they referred to her being able to go to the club because she’s not a respectable lady… that’s what really set me off

And Stoker is amazing! He never tries to change her mind or go against her whatever she says he respects her opinion! That’s a real friendship that can blossom into the best kind of relationship
