Sorry guys, I finished it last night. The baby didn't want to sleep in the morning and then he slept for 2 and a half hours in the afternoon so I read lol.

I did like the fact that we got to learn more about Stoker's past and just love him and Veronica. I did guess part of the mystery, but I def thought it was another good one in the series.
Yay! I love them too. I think this would be a good tv series or something if it was done right
I'm on Chapter 5 :) getting through books a little slower this week, but I'll keep reading today! I'm not surprised that stoker is about to be accused of yet another murder lol

And so I’m reading this morning and the two are about to go see Caroline to question her.. Stoker mentions her family is into plumbing supplies and Henry Stihls son was reading a book on drains…. Weird coincidence?

The other main character was Stoker Templeton-Vane. I don't recall any others, but I read it years ago.
Hello, no worries about the hijack haha...I used the first book for our February cards and I had a look at our team's spreadsheeet. Other than Veronica and Stoker, there is also Hugo Montgomerie. Oh...maybe aunt Nell, but she is dead but Veronica talks about her when remembering her past.

If we wanted another one, we could choose one from our list or I'm thinking off A Fate Inked in Blood or maybe a classic like Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights? Let me know what you think...I'm happy with whatever works :)
Yup, he does. The mystery is not super difficult to guess but I do love their dynamic and relationship

And yeah once you really get in the book you can start narrowing it down At first obviously I thought John was hiding and going to send for Charlotte later when everything died down.

hey guys! I'm finishing up book 3 right now. Yesterday I read the part where stoker confronts Caroline and it was so sad!!! The fact that she did all that, left him for dead practically and still ran home to make up lies about him
my libraries don't have the ebook or audiobook available but I saw they have the physical copy so I'll be heading over there today to try to borrow it :) if not, I'll be buying the book today! (A Fate Inked in Blood)
