Bella d'Amour (bella_damour) | 25 comments Hello. I've unpublished all my books (very few sold) and will be relaunching revised books with a new pen name, new title, new cover. In order to avoid confusion between the old and new books, I'd like to remove as much information as I can from the old books, such as book descriptions, book covers, reviews, etc. Is this possible?

Thank you.

Tami (tamicarvallo) | 6987 comments Hi, no, this isn't possible as it's against Goodreads policies to remove valid information. You may indicate that the book is out-of-print in the description but you should not replace or delete the existing description. You should follow the guidelines stated here https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...

Bella d'Amour (bella_damour) | 25 comments Can I change the status to 'out-of-print' or 'title unavailable' or does a librarian need to do that for me?

Tami (tamicarvallo) | 6987 comments There's no status to change. Just add that the book is out-of-print to the existing description. You can do it yourself or ask a librarian to do it for you. Make a request in 'Book & Author Page Issues' with links to the relevant books, specify your preferred formatting, and indicate whether you want this information added at the beginning/top or at the bottom/end of the description.
