I’m Emily and I offer proofreading, copyediting, and beta reading services. I work with a variety of genres, but mainly fantasy, middle school, young adult, sci-fi, mystery, and thrillers.

I have a background in the sciences and history (A double major in university gave me insights into both worlds), along with my publishing certificate. Currently, I also work in the medical field and continue to take courses and webinars in editing to improve my skills.

My rates are (Canadian dollars):

Beta read: $1.50 per 1000 words (min charge of $10)
Copyedit: 0.015 per word
Proofread: 0.01 per word
Editing Bundle: purchase a copyedit and get a proofread for $0.007 for the same manuscript.

I offer a 1,000 word free sample edit for first time clients (copyedit & proofread).
