I have so many books available for this part of the Quarterly read........but I definitely can't wait to read "The Last Leaves Falling" by Sarah Benwell, I'm not sure why but when I read the premise, I was strangely drawn to it............
Anywho by chance I'm reading Me, Earl and the Dying Girl right now haha.
So what are you all going to read as the free choice reads?

I think I'm going to aim for Me, Earl and the Dying Girl, This Song Will Save Your Life, Where Things come Back, and Say What You Will. I know I'm a little ambitious, but I've been dying to read a lot of these books!
I have both Where Things Come Back and Say What You Will on my shelf from the library as well ^^
And Faking Normal also came.......
Annndddddd same with Playlist of the Dead as well. So *scratches head* it looks like I might be reading more than necessary for the Quarter haha since there's more than I expected from the library....

Still, one read down! I'm probably going to choose "Stolen" as my other choice read, or possibly "Solitaire"

Who knows? Depends on how I feel lol. Truthfully I don't even know what it's about yet but I've just heard it's good ^^.
Yep!
I felt bad for the Name of the Wind though--one of the few times I went into a book with too many expectations but well, it was one of those reads that required a different attention span to the one I gave it! Hopefully SWYW will catch me when it I want to read it most ^^ and hopefully I'll like it.

I'm also going to read Say What You Will. I'm excited for it surprisingly.
I'm going to read Me, Earl... soon. I saw the preview for the movie the other day and it looks interesting. SWYW is on my list as well! I have it from the library, so I hope to get to it soon. I started reading it last year some time and it was pretty good, but I ran out of time and there was a wait list.
There's going to be a movie? Admittedly I think it would be a great movie. As a book I did and didn't like it.

I think the trailer has me a bit split as well, but we'll see. Its definitely an indie film

Oh I'll look when I switch to my laptop!
Yeah it's kinda a very particular kind of book and it makes sense that it'd be an indie movie because book definitely would have come close to my dislike pile if there weren't some things that I liked about it.

Oh yeah (just watched the trailer) it DOES look like a better movie than book. I think I had issues with the voice of Greg in the book, it serious irritated me and made me want to do what Early finally did in thee end. I don't know if I'll watch the movie, but I think it'll get across the story from a whole different perspective compared to the book.
I think what happened was it was an indie film that debuted at film festivals and then I think fox or something picked it up. I think it'll be one of those films that I watch on dvd or something, if I ever get around to it.
Lol it's definitely a film I'd watch on dvd simply because I read the book. But yeah, I kinda like what I see more than what I read. Then again, if I had to judge based on the trailer, Grag Gaines had a stronger personality in the book (even if it was a very crap personality, but I guess that was the point lol).
Since I haven't read the book yet, the movie trailer didn't match up with what I was expecting the book to be about.
Oh lol, I just realised Playlist for the Dead was on the poll list for this Quarter! (Funny...I think I was the one who suggested it) Anyway, it's actually really good! I was expecting it to be like Thirteen Reasons Why but no....it's exactly as it was promoted to be -- part mystery, part love story, part coming of age all centred around the death of his friend. I loved it! Totally worth reading I think ^^
Faking Normal was pretty good.
I'm actually about to read Say What You Will but I'm holding off again....the beginning (format more than anything) reminds me a little of Everything, Everything.
