"BALL UP!" - Val's 2024 Aussie Rules Footy Tipping *Open to Everyone*

The Hawks are really coming on though...they're almost in the 8! Never thought i'd see that happing this season.
And what have the Bulldogs been drinking? 149 points!! That's their highest score this season....cripes!

Absolute heartbreak for the Roos who led all day. Once again, a potential umpiring error has an effect on the result. it's happening too often!

What an exciting game! Of late, I've found a lot of games so ho-hum that I've started reading or similar. Not tonight. Quarter 1 - all Brisbane. Quarter 2 - all Melbourne. Quarter 3 - Brisbane starts clawing back. Quarter 4 - could Melbourne hang on? would it be another draw? or, against all odds, could Brisbane win in the final minutes. With minimal interference from the umpires, it was a great game.
She may not have picked the winner but Suzy still managed to have the closest margin so another $7.00 set aside for Friends With Dignity. Well done!

I just knew when you said there were only 2 certainties you had done for the Swans and so it proved but what a game. I think Logan McDonald signed for Freo with that last kick after the siren.

Not a good day for me! Sorry for putting the moz on your team Tim. Maybe I'll have done the same for the Blues tomorrow? I couldn't watch the Essendon game (had a bad feeling). I followed the score on my phone while watching Le Tour on SBS. The beautiful Italian countryside was soothing.

I haven't seen any footy today. This arvo I was at an excellent play - Counting and Cracking - three and a half hours flew by in this multi-generational tale of Sri Lanka (1956-2004) and migration, both legal and illegal, to Australia. A cast of 19 from 6 countries who speak 11 languages. The staging was clever and innovative and the play was both hilarious, informative, entertaining and emotional.
