Bana AZ (anabana_a) | 836 comments 1. What challenges and distractions have you faced?
I had a heavy distraction and a light distraction from my readathon. The heavy one was my rescue puppy got sick and passed away :(
The light distraction was Love Is Blind season 6.

2. What has been your favorite part so far?
Tracking the pages read and seeing everyone else's tracking post.

3. What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
I finished 3 books! :)

4. What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
To read an average of 200 pages a day

5. If you're playing along with a team, how has that changed your read-a-thon?
n/a

Tanu (tanu_reads) | 138 comments I'm so sorry about your cat, Bana!

1. My biggest distractions have been work, other personal stuff and my own reading speed. I've managed to finish one book so far - definitely not what I was expecting. Hopefully the second will be done by today.

2. Favourite part - the theme! I didn't read as much as I was hoping but it was fun 'eating' the 'king cakes', planning out my books and learning a bit about Mardi Gras.

3. Ummmm.... I finished one book? Not much of a readathon!

4. My goal is to finish Kill Your Husbands and Tracking North over the weekend.

5 It's added an element of fun and competitiveness to the readathon. Not that individual readathons aren't fun but they're not great when you can only clock in 1 book!!

LeahS | 1360 comments Sorry about your pet, Bana. That is heavy.

1. Not much distraction this week, I'm glad to say. A few tasks to get sorted and one busy day, that's all.

2. I liked the theme too. I knew nothing about Krewes or King Cake.

3. I did much better than in the last few Readathons - only one book to go.

4. Just to finish.

5. Just the doing the individual challenge.

Irene (irene5) | 904 comments Sorry about your puppy, Bana :(

1. What challenges and distractions have you faced?
Choosing some books that weren't the best / easiest to get through

2. What has been your favorite part so far?
The theme and discussion with my team

3. What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon?
4 books, 1195 pages

4. What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon?
To break my 6-book curse and finally read 7 (the last time I read more than 6 was when I read 8 in May 2022)

5. If you're playing along with a team, how has that changed your read-a-thon?
N/A since I usually only do the team challenge
