OMG YES YES!!!Thank you so MUCH for that. I had a signed copy and posted it to a friend for him to borrow and it was lost by the blasted post office.

It's supposedly a walkthrough about the game but he talks about his friends and it's more about finding out a friend is lonely and his realisation about friendship. It's written in the first person and some chapters are walk-throughs of some of the game alongside his comments about life and what would be better in the game or how it's just like life. It had quite a sad tone to it. An adult book and not like Ready Player One. I think the book was called 'The *something* Land and I read it around 20 years ago (2004?) Written by a man who I seem to think was an artist or similar.
