The Gilded Ones, and the Blackthorn Key series it recall good. The latter is more middle grade, but if you read and liked KOTLC you should be fine.

becca :p (busy bc of school!) | 96 comments I don’t want to say just read the classics…. But just read classics! Lol I really like Jules Verne, H G Wells, and Ray Bradbury. Jules Verne’s books can sometimes be a little dull but the other 2 are pretty good.

message 9: by Kacie (new)

Kacie Claire, I literally have had this exact same problem all year XD but I'm reading Sherwood by Megan Sooner rn and really enjoying it!

message 10: by Caleb (new)

Caleb (caleb27) If you’re looking for fantasy Wheel of Time series (Sanderson wrote the last few books) is great and so is the Lightbringer series

message 11: by Caleb (new)

Caleb (caleb27) Chaos Walking Series is pretty good too. Some more realistic/dystopian ones are the Newsflesh series and Swipe series

message 12: by Caleb (new)

Caleb (caleb27) And the Codex Alera (really good fantasy), the Red Queen series, the Enders Game Saga (lots of stories there), and Ember in the Ashes series

message 13: by Caleb (new)

Caleb (caleb27) My first recs are the first post and the last one but all great. I got quite a few books that would be more of classic types or literary canon too if you want something deeper

message 14: by claire :) (new)

claire :) i’ll check them out, thanks guysss 🫶🏻

message 15: by Luksa (new)

Luksa Malquist | 5 comments I would recommend reading Howls Moving Castle (or anything by Dianna Wynn Jones) and A Wizards Guide to Defensive Baking (or anything by T. Kingfisher) for cozy fantasy vibes. I also really like Lockwood & Co. and the Enola Holmes series. Idk if that helped at all lol

I think if someone read Jennifer Killick's series, Creatures & Teachers, they would find their new favorite book.

⋆˚࿔kiki˚⋆ {barely active} I would recommend the Throne of Glass series, the Daughter of Smoke & Bone series or the Graceling series :)
