I bought a book while standing in line at the grocery store years ago. It was a good read but I got rid of it as we were moving and I just couldn’t take everything so it went to donate pile . The book was about three women , one a woman entering law school named Deidre, one the owner of a lingerie boutique named Pepper and one named Treva who worked at a women’s healthcare clinic . All three women found themselves in a crisis pregnancy . Treva ended up on bed rest and was picked to run a study paid for by a grant
