{Fatal Flaw} Suzanne is not afraid to take risks, and this can be both a good and a bad thing. On the one hand, she can be dynamic and exciting, but on the other hand, she can also be reckless and careless. Her impulsiveness may lead her into situations that are beyond her control.

On the inside though, her father was an abusive man, constantly hitting her mother, and herself. She was constantly terrified to even walk out of her room, and when she did she was screamed at. After a few years, she had finally found her identity, and told her parents, her mother approved but after her father heard, he quickly kicked her out. A few years after she got kicked out her father passed away, and then a few years after that her mother passed away, and she has been closed off and not wanting to speak to anyone (hide spoiler)]

Backstory: Belladonna grew up in a good and happy family in Broken Bow, Oklahoma until she was five, her father got remarried to Agatha Powel. Bella often had bruises on her arms and legs, leading her to become very good at doing makeup to hide things. When Bella was 10 she got a therapist and was diagnosed with sociopathic tendencies, autism, and some other mental illnesses. When Bella was 14, she left and ran away from home with a friend of hers that turned out to be a satyr. A few weeks after they left for camp the pair was attacked by Lamia, the child-eating monster and barely escaped with her life, though her friend wasn’t so lucky. charlottes backstory is like any other. she grew up in new york, she knew half of the streets like the back of her hand by age 9, blah blah blah. but, there’s something a bit different. she lives with her horrible mother in the smallest apartment known to mankind. she never knew her father, and later she’d figure out why. her mother gets drunk every night and kicks her out at least once a week, calling her a ‘mistake!’ and a ‘little brat!’. one night, when she was 13, she wondered out of the city, and into the countryside. she found herself on long island. she walked around. she would call a cab later. she felt something follow her. it ended up being a monster. it chased her all the way to the entrance of camp half blood. a few hours later, she found herself in front of the campfire, singing cringy campfire songs with other campers. she not only had found camp half blood.

Background: (WARNING: death] Jace had a normal childhood except for one thing, he watched his father burn to death at age five when Jace was visiting his father at the family restaurant. He bounced around in foster care for five years until Jace was ten. He vividly remembered the day his father died and was haunted by it for years. He never stayed in a home for more than two months and ran away after his twentieth family. He wanted to start a restaurant but never got the chance because a monster attacked him while on the run. He ended up at camp when Jace was fourteen and was claimed right away, no one expected there to be a Hestia kid. He soon found out from a dream that he was born from small flames in Jace’s father’s café fireplace after hours a few weeks after Hestia met Jace’s father, a chef from Chicago with a small café at the time. Jace absolutely adores his mother and loves talking with her when she appears in his dreams and at camp.

HISTORY

ACT 1 - Orphanage

It had initially horrified me when I was put into the orphanage. Though, the longer I stayed the more I got used to it. I’d learnt the workers schedules and routines, and how to sneak more food in after lunch. I only managed to get one real friend, Gio. He always walked a bit weird, but whenever I asked he would just say it was a leg condition. To this day, I don’t understand why he hadn’t just asked for a wheelchair to make it more believable. Regardless, I didn’t remember much from the orphanage. It all felt unreal, gave me a sense of numbness the entire time. The only thing I remember clearly is the thorny bushes that surrounded the perimeters. The workers never trimmed them, so it gave me good spots to hide whenever I managed to wiggle my way outside. Gio would always scold me when I came back, my arms and legs covered in thorns and cuts. I didn’t mind it though, it made me feel like I had somebody that cared for me. Other than that, everything was rather calm. More boring than anything, but that was something I could deal with.

ACT 2 - Discovery

When Gio explained to me what a half-blood was, and that he was a satyr, I didn’t believe it at first. He certainly helped his case when he revealed instead of feet he had hooves. The more and more he explained though… the more I wanted to hide in a corner and die. I had only been twelve years old, so his talk of monsters and the fact I could get attacked and die any second frightened me. He had instructed us to leave that night, considering the journey from the orphanage to Camp Half-Blood was a good bit away. And without a car or even a bike, it was an even longer journey. We ended up having to sneak out of a window in one of the rooms. Thankfully, we were located on a floor closer to the ground, so we could just jump out and run.

ACT 3 - Camp Half-Blood

I was covered in blood by the time we had made it past the protective border of Camp Half-Blood. Gio had to hurriedly drag me up the hill, due to the fact we had been attacked and chased by some strange creature called a dracaenae. Monsters that are half snake half woman. They were utterly disgusting, the way they moved. I recall my calf being cut, deeply. Which certainly explained all the blood. I was just thankful that Gio hadn’t gotten hurt, and we managed to make it past the border in time. I wasn’t even able to fight back when it attacked us, I didn’t know how to fight back. I was used to slipping through the cracks, using bribery, and the dracaenae were not too fond of me attempting to bribe them. (hide spoiler)]
